Five Years Strategic Plan (2019-2023) launching ceremony of Myanmar Health Assistant Association had been held at Pullman Hotel-Yangon on 3 rd March 2019.
This MHAA’s Strategic Plan (2019-2023) is an incredible milestone of Myanmar Health Assistant Association and that will be able to achieve our vision as a resourceful taskforce for promoting public health, expanding our career development and as well as accessing to achieve educational opportunities, and integral part of contribution to achieve University Health Coverage program which is currently implementing by Ministry of Health and Sports.
The mission of MHAA is a national association of public health professionals striving towards accessible and equitable quality public health services through health promotion, prevention and control of diseases.
Township Myanmar Health Assistant Association are organized in 307 townships across the country with the estimated members of 5520 within 2019.
And also, MHAA carrying out health intervention in around 86 townships with the support of 539 project staffs, in partnership with INGOs, Ethnic Health Organization (EHO) as well as CBOs and CSOs.
